This reputation has been built upon a unique understanding of the tradeoffs between weight, strength, stiffness, fatigue limits and impact performance. Dymag is about more than wheels, it is about utilising the latest materials technology & cutting edge design to produce the optimum wheel solution for any given application.

History - Magnesium

• Established in the early 1970's to supply magnesium one-piece to Formula One.
• Progressed to offering magnesium wheels to all single-seater race car series (Indy, FF2000, F3, F3000, F-Atlantic).
• Designed and produced the world's first magnesium motorcycle racing wheels for riders such as Barry Sheene and Eddie Lawson.
• Progressed to encompass other forms of motorsport such as Rally (Toyota) and Paris-Dakar Rallye Raid (Mitsubishi).
• Expanded product offering to include limited edition OEM requirements & OEM aftermarket options for both car and motorcycle applications.

History - Carbon Fibre

• First carbon fibre motorcycle wheel designed in 1994. Dymag developed their own die-forming process to optimise the wheel design and material properties.
• On completion of factory test programme, wheels were supplied to an endurance team for evaluation (Year 2000 world champions).
• Following 3 seasons of 12 hour and 24 hour endurance races without any negative indicators, the product was deemed fit for release.
• The growth in carbon fibre sales led to the formation of Dymag Composites in 1998. This facility is located within the main magnesium wheel factory.
• Starting in 2005 is commercially viable Carbon Fibre car wheels for aftermarket, race and OEM applications have been on the road. Current options encompass a range of Carbon Fibre rims with forged magnalum spokes.
• Dymag offers five Carbon Fibre motorcycle wheel options.

• Dymag is accredited to ISO9001:2000 by the British Standards Institute for the design and manufacture of Carbon Fibre, Magnesium and Aluminium Wheels and structural components

• In-House Fatigue Testing to international standards enabling rapid verification of FEA results.
• Rapid Prototyping Capability which enables customer's to receive fully tested prototype wheels, typically within 8-10 weeks from receipt of drawing & order.
