New Advertising Campaign?

Surfing around late at night and we came upon an offer we couldn't refuse. To promote it's interactive advertising service, Yahoo Australia was sponsoring an event where two ad executives in a box would work on your pitch and come back to you with an idea.

We run a pretty tight ship here at Dymag so we jumped on the offer and fired off our "brief" to the guys down under. Here's what they came back with:

You tell me. I think they misunderstood us and thought Dymag made tires.

Our very own Mike Partner was cruising the floor of the recent NEC Birmingham show earlier this month and snapped a photo of this ZX10 sporting the Ultra Pro 7 spokes.

We also make spoked wheels

Did we tell you we also make spoke wheels too? Dymag is supplying wheels to the recently announced retro motocross and supercross bikes by British maker, CCM.

Thumbs up from webBikeWorld

webBikeWorld has a first person review of our wheels and compliments how easy they were to swap out with stock wheels on his Ducati (providing some helpful tips along the way). Reviewer David Young goes on to say,

The bike felt significantly lighter in motion with much less effort in turning and no apparent change in mid-corner stability. While I don't know if it was the wheels or just getting more comfortable on the track, I began experiencing wheel spin on turn exits from the rear tires. While this was a bit unsettling the first few times it occurred, it was very controllable and provided little actual drama. My lap times have dropped noticeably since the wheels were installed no doubt assisted by the move to softer compound tires.

In conclusion, I am very happy with the results of the wheel swap. While the performance gains were enough to justify the change alone, the positive comments I get from people who see the wheels makes the efforts all the more enjoyable. I wholeheartedly recommend the update to lightweight aftermarket wheels whether your preference is to improve performance, appearance or a combination of both.

More "oohs & ahhs" from the press about our concept wheels

In the current issue of MPH magazine:

"Don't expect to ever see these in production but you can still look on in awe."

Check out the photos on their site - we think our wheels look pretty sweet, don't you?

Dymag Bling

The Oct/Nov issue of the Australian magazine Rapid has a piece on how they are upgrading a standard Suzuki "Gixer" and part of their upgrade includes a set of Dymag Forged Mag 7 spokes.

The Dymag's sprocket and carrier were a piece of cake to fit. Dave from Sydney Dyno slipped them in in no time. . . It was as simple as swapping the front rotors over and fitting the original spacers. The performance gain is outstanding in both handling and acceleration, not to mention the bling effect!
